The Teams Meeting add-in lets users schedule a Teams meeting from Outlook. The add-in is available for Outlook on Windows, Mac, web, and mobile.
Setting up a Microsoft Teams Meeting (MS Teams) is similar to how we're used to set up Skype meetings. You can just click on the Teams Meeting icon as seen below. One major advantage is that with MS Teams Meeting we are allowed to invite external guests to our meetings, the external user does not need to have an account with Teams, he/she can join via the Web application, Phone App or Desktop Application. Note: If you do not see the Teams add-in, please close Outlook and Teams, then restart the Teams application first, then sign in to Teams, and then restart the Outlook client, in that specific order.
