Making VIdeo Calls in teams is very similar to making Video Calls in Skype and shares a lot of the same features with some added ones in as well.


You can start a new chat with someone by clicking on the Chat Button  or by Typing their name in the Search Bar at the top of the Teams window:

You can also find them in your Contacts list as well:

Once in a chat with someone, in the upper right, you'll see the same 3 buttons you're used to seeing on Skype which performs the same function for Audio Call, Video Call and Screen Sharing

While in a video Call you'll have a floating command bar which has several different functions, From Left to Right they are: Turn Off/On Camera, Mute/UnMute Microphone, Share Screen, More Options, Chat Message, Contacts and Hang up:

Under More Options, you are able to record, Blur your Background and other functions. if you do opt to record a meeting it is saved into Microsoft Stream, where you're able to edit the video, share to specific people or grab a direct link to it. You'll get an e-mail notification when it is ready for viewing
