Purpose

This document attempts to create an over view of the document management process for Connor Group in Office 365(Sharepoint).

Control Sites

There are meta tags at both the site level and library level in Office 365.

Site Configs

Site tags are controlled in two areas of the Sharepoint admin tool.

1. Term Store:
   1. The Meta tags placed here allow for the tags to be automatically indexed and to create folders that auto tag file contained within.  The current data set is related to the solutions library project
2. Content Type Gallery.
   1. Items here are meant to be a global map of locally applied options.  You can assign a content type to a library and then in the library documents can be tagged using the types defined here.  Attached is the map for the solutions library.  

Library based tags can be changed to be unique or use tags from step one and two.

So far the only site fully configured to use metatags is the Solutions Library:

1. The local content types flow down from the site config.
2. The library settings shows how each tag is configured and mapped within the library itself and is controlled via document type.
