Purpose:

Connor Group as of February 2025 redesigned how we define distribution groups that are used from communication to large sections of the company (CG Employees, department groups, etc.), this solution article will describe the new groups and how to use them.

 

Process:

Using these groups is the same as before, select or type the name of the group into the ‘To’ field from Outlook, compose your message and hit ‘Send’.
 



If you receive an error message like this when trying to use these groups, it likely indicates that you do not have permission to send to that group:

To use any of the groups listed in this article you must be an authorized sender of that group, to determine if you are an authorized sender, please contact the Helpdesk.

Once added, it can take up to 2 hours for the permissions to be effective.

Dynamic Distribution Group Definitions:

Here is a current (02/13/2025) list of the dynamic distribution groups available and who receives the messages sent to them.

 

CG Global

Emails sent to this group will go to any person that has any of these values in their Company name and are not marked as an ‘IC’. This group also includes employees in a CX Department, where the "CG Employees" group does not include CX department users.

    • including CX department employees.
  • Connor CS, Inc.
    • including CX department employees.
  • Solden Services, Inc.
  • CGGS India Private Limited
  • Connor Group Global Services, LLC


CG Employees  

Emails sent to this group will go to any person that has any of these values in their Company name, are not marked as an ‘IC’, and are not the ‘CX’ department.

    • excluding CX department employees.
  • Connor CS, Inc.
    • excluding CX department employees.
  • Solden Services, Inc.
  • Connor Group Global Services, LLC


SLD Employees

Emails sent to this group will go to any person that has any of these values in their Company name and are not marked as an ‘IC’.
